Please join us for the second annual Nicole Burnham Veteran Suicide Awareness 5K Walk along the Rum River in beautiful historic Anoka Minnesota.

Pooter's Peeps, The Nicole "Pooter" Burnham Legacy Foundation is partnering with Haven for Heroes with a mission to help our veterans. These two organizations are working to raise awareness and dollars for two major objectives:

1. Raise awareness and prevention of suicide in our military community. Additionally, we are raising funds for a variety of veteran causes.

2. Raise dollars for the continued building efforts at Haven for Heroes, which provides safety and shelter for our homeless veterans.

John F Kennedy said, "One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." Be the person to make a difference, and join us on October 3rd to walk in honor of our veterans.

Logistics

• The walk will start and end at the Haven for Heroes location in Anoka (see map for location and address). In conjunction with the walk, there will be a raffle of various donated items and gifts from the local business community.

• Registration check-in and same-day registration will be in the auditorium building beginning at 9:00am.

• Leashed pets are welcome!

Same day registration will be available or $25.

Online Registration will be open until Thursday October 1st at 12:00pm .
